The return of Lanzini.
With West Ham getting knocked out of the cup and it would seem not much really to play for, apart from trying to get 7th.

The return of Lanzini is actually something to look forward too.

No doubt he’s class and if he didn’t get injured he may of played for Argentina in the World Cup.

Let’s he returns the player we saw at home to Everton at the end of last season, the thought of him linking up with AnderSON is exciting.

Irons.

Re: The return of Lanzini.
Well said, young woody. The big question is how long (and if) he will return to the form he was at.

Re: The return of Lanzini.
Presume we will use him off the bench for a few games to ease him in.
There isn’t a DESPERATE need to rush and Nasri has to be fit as well. Surely

Re: The return of Lanzini.
Yeah I'm not expecting much from him for this season, even if he's fit to play it will still take several months before he has that sharpness and can move like he used to.

The thought of next season getting to choose from Anderson, Lanzini, Nasri, Yarmolenko, Antonio, Diangana to fill the 3 behind either a newly motivated Arnautovic or a Maxi Gomez level replacement is very exciting hough.

Re: The return of Lanzini.
“For this game, we have the squad which was playing most of the games and for this week I think we will have the squad list [on Thursday] and maybe Lanzini and Nasri can be included on the squad list,” said the manager. “[The did] not only [work] today, they worked the complete week.

“We will talk [Thursday] with the medical staff and then we will decide.”

“So, the return of both of them will be a good injection for the squad.”

While Lanzini and Nasri are approaching their returns, one player who is not yet ready to make his comeback is Wilshere, who has been ruled out since early December with an ankle injury.

“We will evaluate him next week and then we will be more clear about his future,” Pellegrini confirmed

Re: The return of Lanzini.
Was gutted for the boy last summer, absolutely nailed on to get a regular start for the Argies, as their side was fucking shit and he would have definitely improved them.

Stay fit this time please Manuel!!

Sorry

Pelegrini said he was out with the rest of the "playmakers" like Nasri and Wilshere so probably in the centre where they were.

I am not expecting any super fireworks early on, but if he can come on later in a few games and help us retain possession (hopefully while maintaining a lead) that would be a great start.

All in form would cause most teams problems.
